Georgia Department of Economic Development
The Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) is the state’s sales and marketing arm and the lead agency for attracting new business investment. It is primarily responsible for planning and mobilizing state resources for economic development. The GDEcD encourages the expansion of existing industry and small businesses by locating new markets for Georgia products, attracting tourists, and promoting the state as a destination for arts, film, music and digital entertainment projects.
Paulding Chamber of Commerce
The Paulding Chamber of Commerce serves as the catalyst for a vibrant business community. It enhances, supports and advocates businesses through programs, events and resources for its members.
Paulding County Government
The Paulding County Government and Board of Commissioners are responsible for protecting the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Paulding County. They enact ordinances governing activities and properties in unincorporated areas of the County. The Government acts as an equal partner to Paulding County Economic Development to offer incentives, improve and maintain infrastructure, and evaluate plans for strategic economic growth and redevelopment.
SCORE North Metro Atlanta
SCORE North Metro Atlanta is a nonprofit organization that provides free remote mentoring, low-cost educational online workshops, and downloadable tools. It is dedicated to helping small business get off the ground, grow and maximize their success. SCORE is supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration and retains a network of 10,000 volunteers who share their expertise across a variety of industries.
Small Business Development Center
The goal of the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is to enhance the economic well-being small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. Designated as one of Georgia’s top providers of small business assistance, the SBDC provides tools, training, resources and educational services that help small businesses grow and succeed. Its network of partners has helped construct a statewide ecosystem to foster the spirit, support, and success of thousands of entrepreneurs and innovators.
U.S. Small Business Administration
Created in 1953, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) continues to help our nation’s 30 million small business owners and entrepreneurs pursue the American dream. The SBA is fully dedicated to small business and provides counseling, capital, and contracting expertise as the nation’s only go-to resource and voice for small businesses. Its programs help to plan, launch, manage and grow small businesses through advocacy, access to capital, federal contracting, and entrepreneurial development.

It is the state of Georgia brand for a nationwide program funded through the federal Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA.)
