Paulding County Economic Development had the pleasure of sponsoring the Chamber of Commerce’s GreyStone Power Luncheon! It was led by Paulding Chamber President & CEO Stacy Hamby and was a phenomenal event! Attendees were able to hear from Labor Commissioner Bárbara Rivera Holmes and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger about the important work their offices are doing to support businesses, strengthen our workforce, and expand economic opportunity across Georgia.
We also heard from Labor Commissioner Bárbara Rivera Holmes about the state’s workforce development initiatives and how they are helping communities build stronger talent pipelines. Her insights were especially timely as we launched Paulding County’s Workforce Strategies Summit with our workforce partners after the lunch—an effort focused on bringing together educators, employers, industry, and community partners to align workforce solutions and priorities with the needs of our growing economy.
